No. This is a halal restaurant. They should be serving only halal
yes.
They dont serve any pork on the menu (wouldn't be halal); I don't think they have any pork in the kitchen.
what I heard yes
Great place for those who love spicy food and lamb. Loved the lamb kebabs that have meat in decent size. The noodles were nicely flavoured and suitable for kids or those who can’t eat too spicy hot food. The vegetable and lamb stir fry was too greasy though. He rice in bucket was quite tasty. Two-tiered pricing encourages you to get their membership card for $20, which is valid for two years and definitely worth it with 2 visits. Will definitely go back for more lamb!
If you wanna get some good food, then come here
First time trying the place and glad that we did! Food and service is very good here. If you get a membership card here, you'll pay a lower food price. The lamb and beef skewers were delicious and fresh. We also had the small chicken and noodles dish with less spice.
Delicious! I love that they have pictures of all their menu items so you can visually see what you’re going to order. The service was excellent as well. All the staff kept checking on you. The food came quite quickly. Prices are reasonable too. They offer complimentary tea and soup/veggie broth which is a nice touch. The meat is of really good quality and really well cooked and juicy. The braised beef in the noodle soup was really tender. The bread of the Chinese Burger was FRESH and so soft and delicious. Don’t forget to add chili oil to everything!
Lambs skewers all day baby. Hit that flavour town when you want that inner China taste. The price is decent enough and on point. Don't forget to pay the $20 and so you can get the VIP/ reduced price on the menu. It pays for itself in a meal or two. Plus the later nights are great. Since their renovation, the restaurant is a much nicer and more comfortable place to dine. Would recommend!
The food was pretty good! The noodles were very chewy and soft. Good menu and price was OK. I felt like the place was a bit unclean, though. I would still recommend it, but it is not my first go-to place for Chinese halal food.
There was a bit of a wait to get a seat and they don't take reservations under 5 people so you may have to wait. But the service is quick and all the food was really tasty. You can taste the quality of the meat, it was really good.
Nice restaurant serving unique cuisine from the northern part of China. They have another outlet in downtown Toronto, and I have visited that outlet. I can't resist comparing this to the one in downtown, and I must say the food somehow taste better here than the outlet in downtown. The lamb and beef skewers are excellent.
I absolutely loved the food. Too bad it is pretty far away from my home. But cant wait to make a trip again. Strongly recommend to give it a try.
Pretty decent restaurant. I was fairly pleased with the overall cleanliness of the shop. Service was fast and the server was helpful. As for the food, the fried rice was superb. Ask for chili oil for some spice. Our particular chicken dish had many small bones in it. So, although it was very flavourful, it was pretty hard to eat. The beef noodles didn't really fit my palette. The noodles were rather soft, nothing close to an al dente. Some may like that, however. Of course, I imagine that those who can read the menu may have an easier time picking dishes that fit them. Would probably come again for that fried rice.
Really good selection and quality food. Spicy, numbing, tasty, everything you want. The lamb skewer is juicy and flavourful, sliced beef pancake was good but a bit too sweet for me, the chicken was great albeit a bit salty, the sliced beef and tripe salad was yummy. If you go to this place more than once, it's worth getting the membership card for $20 (good for 2 years) as the member price is much cheaper.
Very delicious food and good price, definitely a must try. A different, refreshing kind of Chinese food to worth exploring!
I generally don't like lamb but I enjoy the lamb skewers here; they're very flavourful and tender. Love the mapo tofu dish as well, a good balance of chili and numbing spice! Docked off a star because they did forget to make our cold noodle dish even after asking twice.
Delicious food, a wide variety of dishes from Western China, Northern China and Central regions.Choose from the spicy and non spicy selection, soup and noodle or the flaming BBQ kabobs. So many choices not enough stomach space to try them all in a single seating. We came a few days in a row with my coworkers to try the variety of dishes.Staff are friendly and helpful.Prices are just right.I highly recommend coming with a big group of friends so you can try more stuff and share it all. A small party of 4 is simply not enough for all the yummy options they serve here.My favourite after many visits is still the spicy BBQ kabobs. The best thing is this place is Halal, so all my coworkers regardless of religion can join in.The food was so good most of it got devoured before we remembered to take pictures.
We’re having a late dinner here after leaving the nearby Asian Festival at the Pacific Mall. The food quality should be must better and at a better price. You can become a VIP member for $20 cash and get access to better menu pricing for a 2-year period. We just selected a number of dishes off the menu and are a little rushed because we are hungry and tired. The food was more spicy than to my liking but it was a chance to try this place out.Service was good and quick.
The food was amazing, lamb skewers are the best. Must try, and it's halal friendly.
Do not recommend this pancake mince lamb thingy, way too much onion. I can only taste the onions. Other foods I tried are good. Love the spicy beef fried rice
Came here early Saturday for dinner! The manager was attentive and helped us order to make sure we covered all the specialties. Each dish was more delicious than the last! Pickled cabbage, lamb skewers, lamb shank, and homemade noodles with eggplant, tomatoes, and lamb! Best food I've had in a while and ambiance is great too.
The lamb chuans were really good. The big plate chicken was ok. I had been to XinJiang and had authentic big plate chicken there so I have high standard on the dish. Onion and lamb tripes needed a little salt otherwise it is good taste. The stir fried onion and lambs was really tasty.
